Application Guidelines

for Academic Year 2024-2025

Submission Deadline is February 1–March 15, 2025

(Postmarked no later than March 15, 2025)

AWARD:
Up to $1,000 scholarships will be awarded to high school graduating seniors and full-time college students who will be enrolling in the 2025-2026 college academic year. Scholarship winners will be notified and awards made no later than June 1, 2025.

STUDENT ELIGIBILITY:
To be eligible for the Turlock Garden Club scholarship, the student shall:

   1.  Be a high school graduating senior or a full-time

       college student.

   2. Be a student of Turlock, Pitman, Denair, Hughson,

       Hilmar High Schools, Turlock Christian School, or

       a Homeschooled student. Other applicants will also

       be considered.

   3. Have maintained at least a 3.0 GPA for the two most 

       recent semesters.

   4. Be majoring in anything related to AGRICULTURE 

       such as:
            • Agronomy
            • Agriculture Education

            • Forestry    
            • Botany

            • Earth/Environmental Sciences    
            • Landscape Design    
            • Horticulture

            • Floraculture

            • Plant Pathology/Science

            • Land Management

            or other related subjects.
